        <description>The glorious Pandavas were put into great calamities on different occasions by Duryhodana  just for the sake of the kingdom and each time they were saved by none other than Lord Krishna. Once Bhima was given poison in a cake and once they were put into a house of shellack and set on fire. On another occasion they were cheated in a game of dice and their glorious wife Draupadi was dragged out into the vicious assembly of Kurus and attempts were made to insult her by stripping her naked. The Lord saved Draupadi by supplying an unlimited length of cloth and all attempts to disrobe her were futile. And if all this humiliation was not enough the Pandavas were finally exiled to the forest for twelve long years and the last year in agatva The sons of  Pandu were great devotees of Lord Krishna but were put into many dangerous situations to show to the world that firm faith and complete surrender to Lord Krishna. The Pandavas were more dear to Lord Krishna than His own life, in fact Sri Narada Muni explained to Maharaja Yudhishthira in the Seventh Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam saying: "All you Pandavas are extremely fortunate for the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Sri Krishna lived in your palace just like a human being.</description>
